          Vertebral Axial Decompression (VAX-D)

VAX-D
is a patented non-surgical spinal decompression therapy clinically proven to be a successful conservative treatment for chronic low back pain and sciatica (sciatic leg pain), caused by bulging discs, herniated discs or degenerative disc disease, and facet syndrome.  Even post surgical patients have reported significant pain relief from VAX-D treatments.

Over a series of relaxing spine decompression treatment sessions, patients experience powerful pain reduction and healing.  Some even notice an improvement in their symptoms after the first few treatments!

VAX-D, not to be confused with low back traction, lengthens and decompresses the spine, reversing high intradiscal pressure through the application of negative pressure via a patented slow ramp-up process.  This reversal of pressure creates a vacuum inside the discs that not only takes pressure off of pinched nerves, but helps to reposition bulging discs and pulls extruded disc material back into place.  Spinal experts believe that nutrients, oxygen, and fluids are drawn into the disc to create a revitalized environment conducive to healing.

Leading physicians in orthopedic medicine, pain medicine, neurology, and other specialties in hundreds of clinics around the world currently utilize   VAX-D's proven and patented technology.  Many doctors choose the VAX-D over other devices because it employs the original, patented technology from which non-surgical spinal decompression therapy was born.  VAX-D is the only spinal decompression device that has 10 articles published in peer reviewed medical journals.

VAX-D treatment is cleared by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and has a 510(k) premarket approval.

About VAX-D Treatment:  What is VAX-D?

VAX-D, short for Vertebral Axial Decompression, is a patented non-surgical therapy clinically proven to be the most successful conservative treatment for chronic low back pain and sciatica, caused by bulging, herniated or degenerative discs, and facet syndrome.

Even post-surgical patients and those suffering from stenosis (a narrowing of the spinal canal) have reported significant relief from VAX-D treatments.

Over a series of relaxing treatment sessions, patients experience powerful pain reduction and healing.  Some patients even notice an improvement in their symptoms after the first few treatments!

VAX-D, not to be confused with traction, lengthens and decompresses the spine, reversing high intradiscal pressures through the application of negative pressure via a patented slow ramp-up process.  This reversal of pressure creates a vacuum inside the discs that not only takes pressure off of pinched nerves, but helps to reposition bulging discs and pull extruded disc material back into place.  Simultaneously, nutrients, oxygen, and fluids are drawn into the disc to create a revitalized environment conducive to healing.

VAX-D stimulates the body's repair mechanism, providing the building blocks needed to mend injured and degenerated discs.  VAX-D's process is the only patented treatment clinically proven to decrease disc pressures to the negative levels to facilitate healing!

MedX Medical Testing and Spinal Rehabilitation

The MedX medical spinal rehabilitation equipment has the well deserved reputation of being the Gold Standard of treatment for reducing chronic back and neck pain and dysfunction through specific spinal strengthening. Over the last 20 years, extensive research using this equipment has been published by the Universities of Florida and San Diego along with various orthopedic clinics around the country documenting the efficacy of this approach.

MedX has over 40 published articles in peer-reviewed medical journals.

Specific Spine Rehabilitation is the Answer

Extensive research has shown that the majority of chronic back pain and neck pain  sufferers are significantly deconditioned.  Weakness of the musculature that stabilizes the spine can lead to conditions such as herniated discs, bulging discs, degenerative joint disease, sciatica and facet syndrome.  A spine that is strong and stable will help prevent these conditions that keep us from functioning at an optimum level.  MedX is the only spine rehabilitation equipment to effectively isolate and strengthen the muscles in the spine.
